Safety issues with using blog sites

Security:

If a person writes a status and it says ” that their dad just got them a new laptop ”- then people will know your away so they could come to your house and rob you, if someone add u on bloger, Facebook,twitter or other website and you don’t know them, then dont accept there  friend  requests because the might be a pedo.

When using MySpace, twitter, Facebook always go on your privacy setting and turn off your location because pedos can find out where you live and much more so always turn off your location and they can track you down androb something in your house.

 Don’t access Facebook on public Wi-Fi – Why? Because hackers may be ears dropping on your connection. Always access Facebook through the carrier network unless you are on a secured Wi-Fi network at home .

Cyber bulling: is when people bully you saying “I hate you “and threatening to kill you and trying to get you scared.

7 tip to stop Cyber bulling:

 1. Learn to recognize cyber bullying.

2. Figure out when the cyber bullying began and the cause.

3. Ignore the bully.

4. Block the bully

5. Tell a trusted adult, parent, or teacher, as this will give you an outside perspective to support you.

6. Don't delete the messages

7. Deactivate social networking accounts and change your email address and/or cell phone numbers if the bullying persists.

Phishing: is the act of attempting to acquire information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money)
